United Nations Headquarters

The site of the United Nations complex covers approximately sixteen acres, from 42nd to 48th streets between First Avenue and the East River. Among the buildings on the premises are the 550-foot tall, 39-storey Secretariat, the 380-foot long and 160-foot wide General Assembly building topped with a shallow dome and the Dag HammarskjöldLibrary.
