Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday and serves as an opportunity for Americans to honor Dr. King’s legacy through community service. The day included pre-service discussion, service at sites throughout the community, a short program, and a free community meal. Projects included working with elders, outdoor work, sorting donations, assisting local non-profit organizations, and more.
