Italian mooncake

    We forget the name, but this baked treat is very much like our mooncake. It has a soft skin crust with a filling that is a mix of chestnut paste and quality olive oil. Very rich but a must try!

      it's the only chestnut cake i know, so i thought i'd suggest it :) the one i tried was soft and dense like this, with olive oil, sultanas, some pine nuts and rosemary on top. it was soooo rich!

      you may be right, I remember the sultanas and pine nuts too. Definitely very rich, but the taste was amazing.
