Casco Bay Sole

Pink peppercorn poached sole with lime ceviche shrimp and white corn stew. ($30; this was a half-portion, $15).

 

Notes: Sole was perfectly poached. The pink peppercorn was lost on me, however, the freshness of the fish was not. I did not care for the shrimp, which had been marinated with lime--the acidity level was a bit unbalanced and over-cooked the shrimps, which were extremely tough. The white corn stew was good, but I think sweeter yellow corn would have been better.
