A reception at the UK Mission on 'Achieving Value for Money in the HIV/AIDS Response'
The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for International Development, Stephen O'Brien attended the reception entitled "Achieving Value for Money in the HIV/AIDS Response" at the UK Mission to the UN and had informal discussions with different authorities and experts on the topic.

"Value for money" is still a concept that remains poorly understood and therefore DFID and the UK Consortium on AIDS and International Development held this reception to ensure that Value for Money is placed at the centre of the HIV response going forward and discussed how to measure long-term outcomes and impact on HIV programmes and on broader development agendas.
