World Day Against the Death Penalty, 10 October 2011

Students' debate on the abolishment of the death penalty and demonstration of "No to the Death Penalty" film took place on 10 October 2011 at the Kazakh Humanitarian and Juridical University in Astana.
The event was organised with the support of European Union and British Embassy in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan within framework of the project "Progressive Abolition of the Death Penalty and Alternatives that Respect International Human Rights Standards" by Penal Reform International in Kazakhstan.
