Description: View to the northeast towards the Veteran's Administration Research Hospital (later V.A. Lakeside Medical Center, now demolished) from the southern end of North Saint Clair Street, with parking lots in foreground. The hospital, formerly located at 333 East Huron Street, occupied the block bounded by East Huron, North McClurg, East Erie, and North Fairbanks Court. On the extreme right of the image is the Holiday Inn Chicago City Centre (now Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile). On the left of the image is the now-demolished Underwriters Laboratories building, with the high-rises at 230 and 233 East Ontario Street behind it.
