Native Yarrow on The Appalachian Trail near Hogpen Gap - North Georgia

Here are a few shots from a quick hike we took last Sunday afternoon (early June) on the Appalachian Trail along Whitley Ridge near Hogpen Gap - North Georgia. The stars that afternoon were the flame azaleas (Rhododendron calendulaceum), fire pink (Silene virginica), and oxeye daisies (Leucanthemum vulgare).
