Koalas are a herbivorous marsupials that are Native of Australia. Koala is found in coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia. The Koalas are on the verge of extinction. They are extremely lazy creatures, resting motionless for about 16 to 18 hours a day, sleeping most of that time. They live almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves low in protein, high in indigestible substances, and contain compounds that are toxic to most species.
