Mable Murphy, 1918

Miss Mable Murphy was one of the first four teachers in the Upper Arlington school system, which opened in October 1918 with an initial enrollment of fifty-two students. Miss Murphy was the music teacher, conducting classes in the theory of music and group singing, as well as private piano lessons.
