Flag Day Pageant Including Eliza Howard, Margaret Dwyer and Irma Thompson, 1918

This photograph features three Upper Arlington children who were in the cast of the Flag Day Pageant of June 14, 1918. The pageant was titled "The Star-Spangled Banner" and was composed and staged by J. Clarence Sullivan. Miss Stella Becker directed and choreographed the dances. Eliza Howard, daughter of Edward D. Howard and Eliza (Miller) Howard was cast as Freedom; Margaret Dwyer, daughter of Emmett R. and Mary E. (Huggett) Dwyer was cast as History; and Irma Thompson, daughter of King and Ethel (Herrick) Thompson was cast as Today.
