HOMAGE TO WASSILY KANDINSKY »In the Black Circle« (for widescreen displays)

This Wallpaper 1920x1200 is a homage to the great Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky. The Kandinsky artwork I used for my »TypoWallpaper«—one of my preferred—results from his »Bauhaus period« (1923), when he taught in Weimar and is called »In the Black Circle«. The typefaces I used, are Art Nouveau|Psychedelic faces influenced by Alfred Roller (1864-1935)—co-founder of the Secession in Vienna.

Typefaces in use:

Jim Parkinsons (Adobe) narrow, psychedelic »Fillmore« face »Mojo Std«.

Rebecca Alccaris (Canada Type) psychedelic, Art Nouveau face »Jonah«.

The Alfred Roller revival by Tom Wallace (HiH) »Roller Poster«.

The psychedelic K-Type typeface »Wes Wilson«.

Last but not least the handwriting face:

Rebecca Alccaris (Canada Type) beautiful calligraphic face »Reiner Hand«.
