      yeah, I noticed them in my stats. Second time Wired used a photo of mine on the car blog without asking...

      well the photo is creative commons, so technically they don't have to. Although I suppose you could argue that Wired is a for-profit publication, which means they're indirectly making money of your photo.

      You'd be fully in your right to tell them not to breach your CC terms, but personally, I'd just choose to be flattered and add 'published by Conde Nast' to my CV :)

      Yes, the first time I told them that it's not for commercial purposes and they said that they are a news organization and that editorial use is not a commercial use (which is very debatable). I am flattered, but it would have been nice to get something out of it, even if it was just some wired shwag.
