#52 "If you have talent, find your own way" - Cristóbal Hara
This is the perfect way to end the Street Photography Now Project. I am so looking forward to the 'party' Friday night.
At the beginning of this year I said one of the things I wanted to develop was my street photography but I had no idea where this journey would take me. I guess I have to say thank you to Emil for posting his little 'ad' in London Strobist inviting people to join him on the street because ever since that very cold February afternoon in Portobello Road I knew I found my own way. Well, pinched Emil's way but I am so trying to make it my own. These days I enjoy nothing more than wandering the streets with my camera stopping people to ask them to pose from me. I no longer care if I am on my own or have someone to assist me. Last week Pola and I almost set up a studio in Columbia Road as we just pulled people off the street to pose for us.
What else? It's been a few crazy weeks. Life's been busy. I even had to put a reminder in my diary to respond to text messages today! How crazy is that? I'm enjoying it all though. There are moments when I stop and long for things to be a little different but what you gonna do?!
