Today was Chemo Day. I went to the hospital and received two needles of Velcade chemo (1.4mg and 1.5mg) as a subcutaneous injection in the skin of my stomach. The BC Cancer Pharmacy mixed it into a form so that I'm injected with 1.4ml and 1.5ml of liquid. Each week it is given on an alternate side. Today it was the right side.
I have 6 cycles, each is 5 weeks. The fifth week I don't get Velcade.
