57/366 - Next Level Light Test!

02/26/2012

_____

Got together with fellow Brotographer Mike Wing of Wing Studios today to screw around with some ideas we had been talking about for a couple of weeks. We wanted to work with those fluorescent light tubes you see everywhere in light ballasts. We knew they had an explosive quality when smashed together so we knew there'd be opportunity for some cool captures. The image on the left you see if Mike's image of me smashing the light over my head, and the image on the right is mine of mike smashing two light tubes simultaneously on the wall behind him. It was definitely a good time, which involved a lot of clean up for not a whole lot of exposure. These were some of the better one we got, but I'm sure mike will be posting his own rendition. Check back tomorrow for the first day of March break for me....should be an interesting photo :-)
