Looking back at some shots from Tahoe in January, I'd almost forgotten how intense the sunset was that evening.
I'd spent most of my time there working on this shot, but as I wandered over the rocks at Sand Harbor, the sky blew up even further over the hills on the other side of the lake, turning the sky into a deep, almost blood-like red. This was a bit of a throw-away shot really, but I quite like it for its intensity. It's practically straight out of camera, minus the crop, believe it or not.
