A Home for Wounded Soldiers
This set offers a rare and intimate glimpse in to the Life of a Wounded Solider recovering from the horrors of World War One.
This particular set of photographs is taken from a collection held at Tyne & Wear Archives capturing the every day lives of the nurses and patients at Longshaw Lodge Convalescent Home for Wounded Soldiers, Grindleford, near Sheffield. The photographs were taken in June 1917.
