Keukenhof, Lisse

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is the world's largest flower garden, covering an area of 32 hectares. It is, however, not a historic garden, as it was only established in 1949. The garden is open annually from mid-March to mid-May, but the best time to view the tulips is usually around mid-April, in the garden itself as well as in the surrounding bulb flower fields. Of course, the best time to visit the area is different every year, according to the weather conditions in the previous weeks to the blossoming.
