Over 40 outstanding scientists from developing countries were in Trieste for the TWAS Research Grants Conference from 18-22 April, 2016. They are past recipients of a TWAS research grant, which TWAS offers to scientists to help equip and supply laboratories and support publications. Women accounted for 52% of the conference participants.
