Day of Service 2014

Hundreds of Tulane University employees will spend the day making a meaningful impact in the community at the fourth annual “Wave of Green” Day of Service. Tulane teams will descend on nine sites in New Orleans, clearing vacant lots, installing artwork over blighted structures, sorting food donations, painting, gardening, mulching and performing light carpentry repairs. The annual event, which celebrates Tulane’s legacy of supporting healthy and vibrant communities through direct community service, has included almost 1,000 volunteers who have dedicated a combined 4,000 service hours since 2010.
