Finally found some time to get back on my African inspired mosaic experiments. This one is a mosaic portrait of Maurice Edu, the talented American midfielder of the US national team and Rangers F.C.
Inspired by the amazing art of the Ndebele people, the most artistic tribe of South Africa as well as the South African flag.

Color set is influenced by the Ndebele house mural decorations colors. There are just six spot colors used here + a light grey for the backgroung.
