"Plenty" - Forest Art on Raven Nature Trail
On Raven Trail 28 internation artists created site-specific installations and performances supported by art and art history students from UW-Madison. The theme for the art was Native/Invasive.
This piece is a series of sculptures in the form of oversized chainsaws. The chainsaws are made of suet bird feed over a wood form, so the birds residing in the forest have an opportunity to destroy and feed upon something that threatens them.
