I was fortunate to attend one of photographer Øyvind Martinsen's ( photographic workshops at Dovre this autumn.

An excellent 4 days spent in one of Norway's national parks at Dovrefjell with opportunities to shoot splendid sunrises and sunsets as well as Musk oxen, raindeer, moose, fall colours and the amazing scenery of the park and it's surroundings.

Coming back down from the mountain after shooting Muskoxen I had to stop the car at Avsjøen to shoot the fantastic blue and yellow/green light in Blåberget (Blue Mountain, fitting) The side light and fall foilage gave the light an almost surreal quality.

    Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 17-85 f/4-5.6 @ 1/60sec, f/13, 80mm, ISO 100, Cokin ND Grad

Kim G. Skytte, magnusl67, janinge1968, and 11 other people added this photo to their favorites.

What a marvellous experience to be at that workshop. Looks like you really covered a lot of ground & subject matter. He's not intending to run a workshop in New Zealand in the future is he???

yeah we did, and it was a great bunch to work with, Øyvind acted more as an inspiration and guide, I've wanted too shoot in dovre for a while now, but never had the chance before, so with him as a guide I was able to find some really sweet spots quickly. Unfortunately I don't think NZ is on his schedule, he and his wife are moving to Panama and will give workshops from there..
