Oslo Plaza Hotel

Larger view

Oslo, Norway. Commonly known just as the "Oslo Plaza hotel ", the formal name at the time of writing is "Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel". SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System, not the UK elite soldiers ;-) have long since been out of the picture, so the hotel will soon be renamed "Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel" - the "Blu" sign seems to have been designed purely to replace the SAS logo without creating a visibly different expression.

The Plaza is Norway's tallest building and largest hotel.

The building is 117 meters tall.

No one would have noticed if I hadn't told you, but this is shot through a window.
