M65 and M66 with Halpha
M66 is actively producing new stars due to tidal waves from a previuos encounter with another galaxy. It is shown with an LRGB shot where H alpha frames have been added to both the luminance and the red layer. The bright red zone are the star nursing zones very similar to the great Orion nebula in our Milky Way.
