Low Light Snow
This photo was taken as part of a 52 week challenge. The topic of choice for this week was Weather.
Snow started falling earlier in the afternoon. It never got really heavy near us, but one burst came with large flakes. I missed getting a photo of that, but tried again when I saw some visible snow. I made various attempts at getting moving snow against the single streetlight and freezing the snow in a shot. Shooting through a window added some reflections, but provided a different angle. Before preparing to go outside for a different angle, I looked through what I had and saw this. Out of all the shots, the one where someone came driving down the road seemed unique, headlights illuminating just enough of the road to show prior tracks while distant lights help accent the darkness of the open area across the road.
