Moon passes in front of Venus, to be seen from Evansville, Ind at 15:35 cdt Monday
Look for the moon early on Monday afternoon! Venus will pass directly behind it, when seen from North America. The greenish block-like fuzziness shown here (taken from a Stellarium screen-grab) represents trees on the western horizon. Californians will be able to see the disappearance of Venus, East Coasters will have to find a clear view of the Western Sky.
It's shown here still about 14° above the horizon at 15:35 CDT.
