    sadly, i don't think dorothea lange ever shot in color. at least i haven't seen her pictures among the color photos for the fsa-owi.

    Tell me, please, how did you pinpoint it's exact location in Cottage Grove? This dog has led me a merry chase as no one seems to have any living recollection of it's existence.

    pure conjecture. she took the picture of the house being moved in the same month, october 1939, so it's possible she stayed put to take the picture of the hot dog stand there...
