The Berry Farmer

I went up to a very remote part of the region I live in to collect a 8x10 enlarger. I went for a stroll through the mountains and stumbled across a berry patch. There was sign and a small parking lot and a guy working very hard. 3 years ago he bought the terraced rice fields and converted them for berry growing. He works summers growing berries and when the snow comes he works at a sake winery for a few months. He knew nothing at the beginning and studied as he went along. This year he will finally have a successful crop. I was really inspired by his story and work ethic. Go check it out!
