A 90 min stack. Passing clouds broke a few of the trails especially at the bottom of the frame. Overall it was a great night of star watching. I saw so many shooting stars and 5 or 6 of them were real stunners.

I never noticed the terrible vignetting on 17-40L until this particular shoot. The light fall-off at the corners is terrible.

Crazy stack! i dig these ones were you get the different color temp of the stars

Ry" tungsten white balance and then use an amber source for the foreground. It should leave them a natural color and the sky nice and blue.

All my lenses I work with have harsh vignetting also
might just be part of the long exposure night monster

Killa! Wish I had a MkII and 17-40 to complain about. I suppose for what you paid, it must be frustrating.

So interesting. You know, this reminded me of a Van Gogh painting from the thumbnail.
