Last Light on Weaver's Needle

I've really been wanting to get a good view of Weaver's Needle lately so after class, I skipped napping to go hiking (I was on 3 hours of sleep...finals). I chose the Peralta trail because i've heard good things about it and it's probably one of the shortest hikes to a vista of the Needle - the Freemont Saddle. On the hike up, I learned how out of shape I really am, but made up for it by flying down the mountain in the dark. I've really been having a hard time in photoshop lately. Just like my last post, i'll probably go back and re-process this. The foreground just seems too dark, and everytime I lighten it up, the whole image gets flat. If anyone is interested, the mountain in the background, right behind that lone pinyon pine is Four Peaks. It was really weird seeing pine trees up here. Just on the other side of the ridge behind me, there are saguaros galore. The desert/Arizona is incredible!

(The Lost Dutchman's treasure is said to be burried near Weaver's Needle.)
