Sourdough explosion

This is how warm it is today - and the thermometer confirms it, 24.25 deg C on the worktop. Got this sourdough starter out of the fridge (it reached to just above the yellow rubber band)... an hour or two later and it had reached the top of the (too airtight) jar and it went pop when I foolishly opened it.


A large portion of it has been removed to start the process of some bread that will be finished tomorrow evening.
