Thanks to DIY site and this link DIY Bokeh for this always fun idea.

This is my crude version of trying this out. It fits right over my nifty-fifty. Yes, they're Christmas lights.

how did you get such a clean cut snow shape?

      Thanks, very much.

I don't know if you can see it, but I've had to fold the card in half and punch it so that the flake didn't double up or look non-symmetrical. I wanted to use something stiffer like thin craft foam but it didn't fit under the puncher.

ah, skills to pay the bills!

I found a UK place selling a variety of 'shaped' punches cheap, they have hearts and stars and all kinds of shapes, I posted a link to the DIY group if you're interested :)

      I think they're about £3.50 a punch.

I've been looking for some simple shapes. I found a few. I didn't want one shaped as a cat because well, it doesn't make sense and I may have to explain to somebody what the heck that "shape" is.

I'll have to take a look at the DIY group for that link. Cool.

Can anyone show me where you can buy these stencil stamps? I made a heart without using a stamp and it was probably one of the hardest task to do to make it nearly perfect.

Looks like you can get them from here:

You are right James. You can get them pre-made at that site.

You can buy the shaped hole-punchers at a local craft store on sale.
