Crown TR-777

    Newer Older

A rare and spectacular Crown TR-777. Crown radios have gained acclaim with collectors for their stunning reverse painted panels and uniquely designed speaker grilles.

The reverse painted panel has everything going for it. Big gold chevron, half silver-half ivory checkered panels and the cool TRANSISTOR 7 script. The bottom of the panel ends in a point which is carried through by the perforated speaker grill. Great industrial design.

The Crown Radio Corporation was originally known as Asahi Radio Mfg. Company Ltd

This sounds about as good as you can expect a pocket radio to sound :)
I have a few radios that I use for listening and the rest I collect for their awesome
      designs.

I guess by that you mean average... What are the best sounding shirtpockets that also look really cool?
