Airline GEN 1130A

Airline was the radio brand-name for the Montgomery Ward dept store. This radio was made for them by Sharp and was also released as a Sharp TR-201. Actually, Sharp made this particular radio under numerous names. It can be seen in disguise throughout this photostream (and below) as the Seminole TR-221, the Continental TR-182, and a Sharp TR-210. There were many more variations, I just don't have them yet, but I'm looking...

 

The right side dial is orange reverse paint and the speaker grill is painted ivory. Very nice looking.
