P & O's "Adonia" at Toulon and a typical passenger leaves to investigate the delights of Toulon. Truth be told a lot of the passengers stayed onboard and lay in the sun.
The average age was probably well over 75 years old which made feel rather out of place.
The reason for this disparity is the fact that P & O does not allow any children onboard. The result was a bit of a grey ghetto.
On the plus side the ship was a sensible size at 800 passengers. This gave a friendly feel to the ship.
We enjoyed our visit to Toulon and well worth another visit.
