Oh my goodness. What size hook was used for that? Actually, is it knit or crochet? Did you make the pattern yourself?
^^; sorry if I'm being a spaz, but I'm just flabbergasted by this. *-*

      Don't worry about it!

This is not my work, but my mother's. She's 71, and this was a commission for a friend's girlfriend's christmas present. Mum tells me she knitted it using size 11 needles on double knitted wool to make it tighter, if that makes any sense to you. Some of the face details were added with paint pencils afterwards. She doesn't write down any pattern, as she makes it up in her head, and she refuses to ever do the same thing twice because for her the enjoyment is all in the creation. Hope this answer is helpful to you!

Thanks on her behalf! There's several more in the "elaines babies" set if you haven't already checked that out. If you have, then I'm afraid you'll just have to wait for her to knit some more, along with the rest of us!
