January 2011-New Beginnings

After a break from Calendar Journaling, I've started up again. Sometimes life's ebb and flow cause you to change directions a bit. I've entered the full-time workforce and spend entirely too much time online. This feels right, and I'm looking forward to 2011.

I hear you about changing directions...my life has changed dramatically in 2010...my marriage ending, my kids getting married. Maybe I should start doing calendars again too. I'm looking forward to seeing yours!

Yeah! I've missed your calendar pages!

I've missed your calendar pages and mine too. I may start up again but with less pressure on myself to always have something "amazing" before I start. Is this the inside of security envelopes? Love it! Very inventive.

I've felt that pressure, too. I'm working on just being adequate. Yes, these are cut from security envelopes. I have quite a stash that I use in making little journals. I'm not sure how well the writing will show up on the squares. I may need to gesso them a little.

Love the simplicity and the colours.

I like this - got a fresh feel to it - suits the new year!

Tracy I LOVE the use of the security envelopes - I didn't realise the potential of them until I did Mary Ann Moss's ROD last year and now I have a stash of them, although not as pretty as yours LOL.
As Sandy said - a nice fresh approach for the start of the New Year.
