Bus Bench

Just an interesting bus stop on Capital Hill in Seattle. I thought that the mosaic behind the bench was colorful and interesting.

very clever -- kudos to whomever thought that up!

It is indeed an interesting image, colourful, sharp and useable... it even has some concepts attached to it. It's a shame that it was rejected.
The blown-out highlights in the bottom left corner and some garbage under the bench could be counted as unpleasant details, but personally I don't find them offensive enough to justify a rejection.

I would have probably worked to find a better centre and crop point. The windows and 'stuff' on the wall do take away from the image. Squared off and cropped tighter you may have had better luck...

Great location - and good eye for realizing it could be translated as a photograph.

I love the cartoon like design of this mosaic. I've blogged this at mosaik.wordpress.com. Hope you don't mind!

After coming back to this image, I understand even more why it was rejected. I don't think the garbage is an issue (I have a version that has the rubbish Photoshopped out) or even the windows.

My biggest problem with this image is the lighting. I just don't like the way that the shadow falls.

BTW, GeoWombats, I'm honoured that you put the image on your blog.
