48 drawing some monsters.
Since I´m not feeling totally OK today and hubby had way too much at work after his business trip to take our son to school (it differs more than an hour between when hubby starts versus when school starts) the little rockstar stayed home with me. We´ve been drawing monsters in the lovely kitchen sun, getting the inspiration from some of his Scooby-Doo movies. Very nice!
We do have compulsory education here in Sweden, but that´s not until next year. I´m really going miss the ability to just stay home a day whenever we want to. On the other hand I think the REAL school will do very good. He loves to learn stuff - me and him already been through space, ecology, some anthropology and religion, very much history and his main interest - dinosaurs! Yup. He´s made up his mind. Palaeontologist it is! *LOL*
Sadly it seems like the pre-school he goes to doesn´t talk about "stuff", they´re only focusing on numbers and letters. Don´t misunderstand me - it´s obviously essential to learn that, but I just assumed that they would bring up OTHER things as well.
I´m actually a lot like my mum when it comes to my sons up-bringing - he constantly gets subtle pedagogic information about stuff - that´s my shit! And that´s been my mum during my growth. Hubby? He plays a lot more haha. ;)
