Call of Duty: Kansans in World War II
November 4 – December 30, 2011

Call of Duty is dedicated to the men and women who answered their nation's call to serve on either the front lines or the home front during World War II.

The highlight of the exhibition is a large intertwining timeline of the Pacific and European Campaigns and the Kansas home front. We are featuring a handful of local Kansans who served and highlighting contributions Kansas made to the war effort.

The efforts at home, such as scrap drives, victory gardens, war production and morale-boosting events like the USO dances will be intermingled throughout the gallery.

The exhibition features photographs, stories, military artifacts and original works of art by Kansas artists Roger Shimomura and Jim Brothers.
