Reticulated Python, Python reticulatus in situ in Khao Yai national park, Thailand
The 3m+ animal only flicked its tongue. It was not impressed by my presence, and probably checked if I was of edible size. Even when I moved away after the photo shoot it still remained in place.
How often does a snake pick a picture-perfect spot? Very Lucky!
