ILA 2010

All of these photos were all made on the 11th of June 2010 on the ILA in Berlin.

First of all I'd like to say many many thanks to everyone who made this excellent airshow possible and many thanks to all of its participants. And to Matthys van Wageningen and Ronald Mulder for arranging the whole trip.

The Weather was hot and sunny, temperature around 30 degrees. My predictions on the weather came through :-)

What I didn't count on was the occasional SANDSTORM....

Technobabble, alls shots were made with,

Canon 300D with Sigma 28-135 AS IF
(mostly static and a couple of big planes)

Canon 40D with 100-400mm L IS USM

Stupid mistakes..... both my cameras internal clock is off. Offcourse you notice this AFTER the airshow because it completly slipped my mind that their little microbrain computers could be off.

So.... my 40D was 7 minutes slow but my 300D was 1 hour and 17 minutes slow....
(must have forgotten daylight savings between 2005 and 2010 somewhere)
