Grevy´s Zebra

@ Buffalo Springs NR, Kenya

endangered species:

Grevy´s Zebras are the biggest of the Equus family. They only have black stripes and there are no stripes on the belly (similar to the Cape Mountain Zebra), while the common zebras (Plains Zebra -- Equus Quagga) have also light brownish shadow stripes and they are also on the belly.

The Grevy´s stripes are also thinner than from other species.

By the way: do you know the difference between a male and a female zebra?

The male is white with black stripes and the female is black with white stripes :)))
