Electric Workcycles Fr8

Workcycles made a monster out of their beast, by converting its Fr8 to an electric Fr8

This customer from also wanted to use his van less but had the problem that he needs to transport all his tools / concrete / stones etc. on a bike trailer

(btw he also has a bike blog

witch all together could weigh up to 180 kilo's!

to make the challenge even bigger he mostly works in Nijmegen, for those who don't know Nijmegen, it has a lot of steep ups and downs

This is one of the most high tech Fr8's Workcycles ever build,

They used the the Crystalyte HT in the front wheel with one Li-ion 36v batteries

because the motor isn't rollerbrake compatible they gave the front fork the mounting options for rim brakes,

and gave the beast Magura HS-33 hydraulic rim brakes in the front, the rear wheel has a IM-70 Rollerbrake

of course this is nog high tech enough so we gave the bike the new Nuvinci witch allows to shift seamless.

last but not least (not seen on this picture)

there is a CNC cutout with the letters W.G. (his initials) on the left rear fork

sprayed the bike in yellow and we put a massive rack on.

as you can see on the picture the massive rack is capable to even jump off
