East Bank Sphericon

My first cone based panorama projection. Used the wonderful Antiprism software by Adrian Rossiter to produce an approximation of a sphericon, then used my software to unwrap it into a net. My unwrapper works great for shapes with a small number of faces, but will need some extra automation for shapes with a ton of faces!

What's really neat about this shape is that it rolls! Someone even made a video of one made of pie!

A Sphericon is a shape where you basically take two back to back cones, chop in half, and rotate one section 90 degrees. See here for more shapes in the same area of insanity.

The panorama is the East Bank Esplanade Ramp.
