The Inner Workings of a Miura

Open for all to enjoy.

Subtle intricate details are all over this car, it's amazing the effort that went into making them. It all becomes apparent when opened up so that you can explore. A lot of the body is made out of 'old' materials. No carbon fibre 40 years ago. Extensive use of fibre glass is used to reduce weight for parts like the bonnet and the rear.

In the front, there's the gas tank and suspension parts, etc. The rear is where the fun is though. It houses an engine boasting 370HP, which is a lot for those times. A surprising thing I found was that this car has electric windows! Even thought they worked poorly, it was still interesting to see that that sort of technology was used 40 years ago. We spent a short amount of time here, so usually we'd leave the car on. But apparently if the car was left on for more than 5 mins without moving, it'd catch fire, lol :D

Interested to hear thoughts on editing and all the usual stuff here. It was a nice shot to make and I spent some time with it in PP. If you had the chance to order a Miura these days, what colours would you get it in?
