"...Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."

I did the same thing a few weeks before you. I was the last person in the night before and the first in the next morning. I made reservations for the Minne & Friends breakfast at Plaza Inn for 20 minutes before rope drop. When they lead us around the crowd and to the restaurant I snuck off to the statue to shoot a panorama of it. It only took about 30 seconds before security was on me, but the shot was more than worth it.

Your trick sounds pretty similar to my, "arrive just before 8 am on a Sunday because you assume the park opens at 8 just like it did the day before" trick. Trick described in detail here: www.disneytouristblog.com/disney-trip-reports/part-vii-co...

I'll have to try the pancakes trick next time. Glad to hear that your story had a happy ending, albeit with a breakfast burrito.

So beautiful! I can't imagine the Trees not framing the castle.. and can't help to wonder what Cinderella Castle would look like if the Trees were still in place.

Picture perfect, I never understood why the two tress never bloom at the same time.

Oh yeah. Excellent framing and nice symmetry.

you discussed a neutral density filter on a previous photo. which type did you say that was best for experimenting in "the world."

When on earth were you able to catch this shot without any one else in it? Was this before the park opened to the general public?
