It's A Wonderful Life

    Newer Older

I know I keep repeating this point ad nauseam, but I'm doing that because it's worth repeating. Standing under this brilliantly lit Castle, waiting for your camera to finish taking a picture while Christmas music envelopes your ears, the Magic of Disney really overwhelms you. Words don't do the feeling justice. When you're there just experiencing the Magic at Christmas, everything else melts away and you can really appreciate that it is a wonderful life.

If you've never gone to the World at Christmas, I suggest booking a trip (for next year, if it's too late this year). You won't regret it.

As for the shot, hopefully George Bailey would be proud.

While I can't go to Disney, I am planning an active holiday calendar and hoping to get shots at Six Flags and other places ....not stating you're not right about Disney and the castle, but some of us don't have the time or ability to travel there .......closer to home .....I was blessed to find a calendar of many free events yesterday :)

Great shot, love it both in b/w and the blue hued color

I love the B&W. It just has a 'classic' Disney look to it and is quite magical. Well done!

I gotta say, while the B&W is great---I LOVE the color version. The sparkling white lights against the vibrant blue is just awesome, it gives me more of that magical Disney Christmas feeling than the B&W version.

The color image is great, but the B&W version is timeless.
